Teaching Philosophy

I believe all students should have access to a quality education regardless of race, gender, religion, or ethnicity and the barriers used to prevent such access must be broken down. While equality and equity are keys to a successful education, I believe that justice is the goal. Everyone getting an education while having access to the same resources is a great start; however, it is more important that the reasons why the barriers were placed are addressed and that the blockades are completely removed.
